Cut away the crust and butter one side of the bread. I put them on a panini toaster till golden brown, then I turned over and toasted them slightly on the other side. Lightly butter the second side. Put in your ham and cheese, then sprinkle with garlic salt.
Voila! They tasted exactly like those from Toast Box!!

my son and i like Toast Box luncheon meat toast sandwich instead, he could even eat the veg inside without me nagging! Hope you're feeling better with your teeth; I had my row oflower teeth crowned last year & those 3 days of sensitivity still lingers in my memory, *tsk* :)
How do u keep the sandwich crispy? I find the toast too hard, after leaving them in the bento box from morning till lunch time leh.
