Little Dancer In Ballet Outfit

Ok, look closely. Look very closely. How is Jaimie different today???

OMG!! She is wearing a proper dance outfit for the very first time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although we have not signed up, we are 98% sure that we'll do so in July so we spent $98 to purchase this set of "uniform" for the little dancer. It includes the shoes, tights, leotard and skirt. Jaimie was so thrilled and pleased and excited about the ballet outfit!! In fact, she was so proud of her ballerina look that she refused to take them off after the lesson! To satisfy her ego, we allowed her to wear them and walk around Suntec City for a while.

Go on, dance, little one!

btw, we have stopped her swimming lessons. She was still crying every lesson after 4 mths. Clement thinks a break from the swimming lessons might do her good.

Looks like FUN! I thought ballet classes are about elegant moves and tip toes, hahaha, hence afraid my tomboyish Zhiyu will not be able to stay quiet in ballet classes, now i think otherwise!

Jae do seems to hv lots of fun.. Recently I also enrolled my gal to ballet class. Both lessons, the teacher concentrate more on teaching them the proper stretching of the toes, how to turn/jump elegantly.. Very much different from Jae's.

oh my!! So lovely!! I wanna buy for Chloe too ... but is it too early?! Wat's the best age to start ballet lessons?

apparently many of our friends' children starts ballet ard this age (4y.o.). but may i emphasize, Jaimie is not going for ballet class. Hers is fun dancing for preschoolers.

that's very pretty. Wow, didn't realise a kid's set would cost so much, i remembered my jazz pants & tights were about $70 (but back in the 90's :p).. I agree with u on stopping the swim lessons if they're so traumatic for Jae, there'll still be chance to catch up on that in Pri sch. :)

I saw little ballerinas still in their outfit in the mall, they seems to like it, showing-off that's it, haha! But they are really sweet, esp those with long hair, so pretty! I like how Jae sat down so gracefully in the 2nd video clip! Yay! for stopping the swim class.
