Escape Theme Park & Wild Wild Wet

It was a hot hot hot Saturday afternoon with the temperature hitting 35deg Celsius but it's not stopping us from going to the East. This is Jaimie's first visit to the Escape Theme Park and Wild Wild Wet @Downtown East.

The Escape Theme Park was really quite run down but it's ok, Jaimie still had fun. First she tried on the kiddy ride.
And she enjoyed squirting water at others.

She was thrilled to be on this plane because it was the same as the one in one of her High 5 DVD.

I thought she might be scared at the child friendly roller coaster but she wasn't! She requested to go again and again until we couldn't go on. That was because the roller coaster had some technical fault and needed to cease operation. =_=

One last ride on the toot-toot-train before we proceed to the Wild Wild Wet.
Jaimie went quite wild at the Wild Wild Wet Water Park. This time, she was brave enough to go down the slides and even sat down to wait for the mega water splash from the enormous bucket.

Our friend relaxed herself at the "Shiok Pool".

When we first brought her to the Jurong East Swimming Pool, she was reluctant to try the playground and the equivalant of the "Shiok Pool". Now she had gotten very comfortable and confident. Well done, princess!

After an afternoon of water and sun, we are now 4 shades tanner and very tired...

Great that the Escape Theme Park at Downtown East will be redeveloped. The current rides are quite boring already. Read more about it here.
