I was eating my oatmeal as breakfast just now and used a magazine distributed to us in my school letter rack as place mat. When I was about to throw it away, I flipped to this page and found it quite meaningful and helpful.

Now I feel ashamed bcos like the author, I've actually learnt about the disciplines of a Learning Organisation and I was in fact an LO trainer at my former workplace! The author talks about how our mental models (ie. overgeneralising events or stereotyping people based on our biases) affect the way we think and act. *shy shy* I actually did not put into practice what I know.
HOWEVER, when hubby is the one cursing bad drivers, I always offer a possible reason, that perhaps the driver is about to LS in his pants, or someone needs to go to the hospital, or he needs to catch a flight. Funny how I can tell him that when I'm in the passenger seat but I take on a whole new persona when I'm behind the wheel. Tsk tsk.
That's what Clement said to me too... i can be cool because i am not driving. it's true, really, that i am much cooler because i am not the one driving. so i tell him i serve as the "reminder" and "coolent" when he is angry. what he must try to do is to listen to me and cool down when he is angry. and it is perfectly normal to be angry. :)
