We turned into Sims Ave to look for TTR but it should be in Lor 17 itself. I wonder why is the address 134 Sims Ave. Good thing that Clement spotted the TTR van and hence we located the stall.
A very humble looking stall. It opens at 11am and we were 15mins early. There were a few other early birds too. I went to the stall to see if I could place my order first but Aunty insisted I waited till she turned on the lights at 11am. However, Uncle was nice enough to take down the customers' order before Aunty turned on the lights.
Now I know what is a good TTR. THIS is the BEST TTR! Absolutely the best! It costs $4 and this one is value for money. Meekfreek is right, the serving is huge and 2 person can share it but it is so delicious that I ate everything.
I shared it with Jaimie but she only took a few spoonfuls. I liked it so much that I decided I shall have it for dinner as well so I tarbao one (no need to pay extra!) with brown rice (no need to pay extra!) home. Geylang is quite far to us to travel so I must make full use of the trip there.
This is a 10/10 TTR but I need to take away 2 points because the fact that Aunty didn't want to take my order before 11am caused some unhappiness and affected the otherwise lovely lunch.

Wow..Angie,
I really admired the rate that you are discovering TTR all over SG..so your next book will be abt TTR..hehe: )
no lah, astee. that is about the stalls i am trying out unless i happen to see more TTR. but TTR is not that common, isnt it?
The serving is so generous right? And the taste is soooo good! I just love it. We had JuJu Hokkaido tonight and it's the first time I really ate meat for about 3 weeks. I hope I am not constipated tomorrow.
The soup is really tasty compared to the others I find.
yes MF, it is the B-E-S-T! i had 3 bowls of soup today because Clement gave me his. yummy yummy! FYI, sth had turned green....:p
Wah lau.. the person who stay the nearest (I am in lor 1) has not eaten it yet!!!
Today! I must get it!
Sit fon sit fon! (Hakka for eat rice, I think)
Hiya Angie, long time!
I've eaten TTR long time ago when my colleagues took orders for lunch-in once in a long while... I've never drank the soup, just too green and too minty for me. As for the rice, I needed to ration the ikanbilis with every spoonful as it is just too plain! Occasional eating TTR is fine, but to eat it everyday I'd feel sorry for my tastebuds, hehe :P Excercise is still the best I guess.
Blessed Birthday!! How r u going to celebrate today? Just sent you an ECard, hope you like it. :)
