Still coughing quite a bit today, despite medical orderly's assurance that the cough mixture prescribed to me by the MO is the powderful kind. Took half day leave in the afternoon so I can take my meds and get knocked out within the safe confines of home.
You know what they say about laughter and medicine...

njk_mom: Most Taiwanese have this very same articulation tendency too e.g. "sank you", "happy bir-sday"...
I have a cough too...you just remined me about my favourite peach flavoured cough medicine laced with codiene that I love to savour as I sip it directly from the bottle as it sends me into extended sleep consiousness! Have to go get some. Big bottle please.

meekfreek: hey thks. I wish the MO had prescribed me with that peach flavoured medicine instead. Even if it hadn't make the cough go away, it wd at least have tasted better than Procodin.
